Overview
LUMIDAR Vis-NIR image sensors are capable of achieving clear imaging through challenging conditions such as smoke, glass, and fine airborne particles. Moreover, based on the unique material properties revealed under short-wave infrared spectral imaging, objects exhibit additional details beyond the visible spectrum. This enables the capture of richer visual information in complex environments, paving the way for groundbreaking advancements in security monitoring and outdoor exploration.
Fire Rescue
During a fire, smoke-filled conditions often hinder firefighting efforts. Near-infrared light, which is less affected by smoke, can help quickly assess the situation on site and locate the source of the fire, thereby enabling more efficient firefighting operations.

Remote Observation
For long distance, the dust cause distant objects becoming blurry. SWIR has a longer wavelength than visible light, which achieve less affected by dust and can capture distant objects more clearly.
Near-infrared imaging equips low-altitude drones with the ability to penetrate visual barriers such as haze, smoke, and dust that are challenging for visible light to overcome. In complex outdoor scenarios like forestry fire prevention, emergency rescue, and environmental monitoring, this technology enables the acquisition of richer and clearer on-site information compared to traditional cameras.
